The following institutions offer Teacher Education Programs in Prince Edward Island:
Teacher Certification
No candidate for a teaching position in the province of Prince Edward Island may enter into an agreement to teach, verbal or otherwise, with a school board until such a candidate has had their credentials evaluated by the provincial Registrar and has been issued a license stating that they are eligible to teach in this province. The Registrar also issues renewals and upgrades to PEI Teacher's Certificates, Substitute Teacher Authorizations and Statements of Professional Standing.
The application process varies depending on if you graduated from a Teacher Education program in PEI or elsewhere in the world.
